AT AUXIME WE BELIEVE IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND WE OPT FOR ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGIES WITH THE AIM OF MINIMIZING THE CO2 FOOTPRINT THAT OUR PRODUCTION EMITS INTO THE PLANET’S ATMOSPHERE.

In 1988 we began our adventure of producing electricity from renewable sources with the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in the northwest of Spain in which a waterfall of 145 metres vertically moves a Francis turbine producing 2,25MW of power.

In 2004 we began our solar project in the central peninsular area with the construction of a solar park of 1MW with 2 axis tracking composed of 7.500 panels assembled around 100 self-steering posts, making us one of the leader companies in this kind of technology in Spain.

At Auxime we also ensure that 100% of the electric energy that we use in our industrial production processes comes from renewable sources, because we are fully convinced that when it is not sustainable, the process changes to a regression.
